• The firelight flickered in the corner of my vision, but my eyes stayed locked on the shallow grave. None of us spoke. We’d all decided to stay outside, camped out beside the ritual spot where Willow lay buried under the moonlight. Each of us carried a weight that grew heavier with every passing second.
