Chapter 71 Seventy One

• Desmond and I were in Mason’s hall. He had brought me there using his special abilities. Thankfully, Mason didn’t watch us appear out of thin air. However, my knees trembled at the thought of what we would say upon getting spotted inside his home.
• “Cassidy?” Mason emerged at the stairs. He hurriedly descended the stairs, jumping over a step or two. “How did you get inside?” He questioned upon reaching us in the hall.
• “Your door was open,” I came up with the perfect lie.
