Chapter 56 Fifty Six

• When Elaine broke a promise, her incubus threw her stuff onto the ground, whereas a broken promise, in my case, got me roughly thrown against the window of my car. My punishment, however, was different.
• The force of Desmond’s mouth on my mouth had my head pinned against the cold glass window of the driver’s seat. There was no need to use his hands as I couldn't move even if I wanted to under the passion of his kiss. It was hard to recall a single instance where I had ever wished for him to stop.
