- Desmond’s definition of love was so profound and beautiful. His concern for me struck a chord in my heart. Our chemistry was off the charts, and I was uncontrollably drawn to him. He had taken the role of my rock and my savior. However, the feeling of love wasn’t mutual.
- “I, uh, I.” Words got stuck in my mouth. His eyes, beaming with affection, were gazing at me like I was the most precious thing in the world. It was tough to decline such a handsome face and watch its joyful radiance fade.
