Chapter 69 Sixty Nine

  • After lunch, I picked up an umbrella, a raincoat, and high boots before heading out the door. It was raining cats and dogs outside. The melancholic wet weather suited my gloomy mood. Everything felt so wrong. It was as if I was about to cheat on Desmond. He had reluctantly permitted me to see Mason and continue a friendship with him.
