• I stopped in my tracks and stared through narrowed eyes as the lone figure stepped up to me, it was clear that he had an ulterior motive and one I wasn’t going to take kindly if he tried to be violent.
• I raised my defenses as he came closer ignoring my defensive stance, he stepped up till I could see his face and I wasn’t at all surprised, I have been expecting this for a long time and I was surprised when he didn’t accost me sooner, it was expected that the ex-mate would confront me but I didn’t think his former best friend would be doing it for him.
