Chapter 37 I Am The Prince; I Do As I Please!

  • Atticus walked to his room, his cruel and merciless expression contrasting with the discomfort he felt from the wound he had inflicted on Serenity. Upon entering the room, he stood up from his chair and sat on the bed, cradling his head in his hands. His chest rose and fell frantically, as if he were trapped in the midst of an internal battlefield.
  • Rage took over him, and he abruptly stood up, knocking and breaking everything in his path. After the outburst of fury, he collapsed onto the floor, his conflicting emotions consuming him. He couldn’t even understand what was happening to him at that moment. He had never experienced anything so overwhelming before.
  • With the arrival of Lazarus, the morning was beginning to break. He entered the room and was stunned by the scene unfolding before his eyes. He raised his hands to his mouth, shocked by the destruction spreading across the room. In the corner of the room, Atticus lay curled up on himself, as if seeking refuge from his own internal demons.
