• Serenity felt a shiver run down her spine as she heard the king’s kind words. She was flattered to have caught the king’s attention and was pleased to know that he had recognized the injustice done to her. Raising her head, Serenity looked directly into the king’s eyes, a beam of confidence shining in her gaze.
• “I appreciate your words, Your Majesty. I didn’t expect Your Highness to care so much about my fate,” Serenity expressed respectfully, feeling more at ease in the king’s presence.
• King Percival, a man with an enigmatic face, continued the conversation. “My nephew can be stubborn at times, but I still hold out hope that he may change his mind. However, I cannot break the agreement between our families. You must remain in the castle and marry on the scheduled date.”
