• The carriage stopped for a moment, and Serenity seemed immobilized, her admiration for the castle momentarily interrupted by the imposing presence of the wolves. She observed each gesture and action closely, noting the hunger and thirst reflected in their wild eyes and the small muscle contractions indicating latent tension.
• One of the wolves, in his human form, raised his head and stared at Serenity with a mix of curiosity and caution. “Who are you, and what brings you here?” he asked, his hoarse voice carrying the weight of many untold stories.
