Chapter 7

• Sofía blushes completely to her ears. She can't believe that man is making her such a proposal. She can't understand it, and no matter how much she wants to react, her body is static in the face of such tempting words. Who wouldn't want to be with Leonardo Di Napoli? Even her best friend has talked about him, the unreachable man of Italy. She sees him smile maliciously and then pull away without stopping looking at her, leaving her breathless.
• "Don't get your hopes up," he says, returning to his cold demeanor. "Be on time tomorrow. If not, you'll be fired." He turns and leaves, leaving her perplexed. She shakes her head and then looks around; she is embarrassed by what happened.
• "You're a... I can't stand you, Leonardo Di Napoli! You're just like all men!" She leaves the mansion through the same place he left, except that Leonardo already has the advantage because he sped away in his Lamborghini, kicking up some dust and making her squint until everything returns to normal. "You're insufferable!" she huffs, heading towards the big gate.
