• Sofia feels her heart pounding. The children don't say anything about it and that makes her feel an emptiness in her heart, she knew it wasn't the time to talk about the subject, now it will be an awkward moment for everyone.
• "It's time to sleep," Sofia said, a little subdued. "I hope your grandfather leaves tomorrow and I can bring you the puppy."
• "I have no problem with you and my father being together," Michelle looks at Sofia. "At first I wanted my father not to be with any woman so that no one would take my mother's place when she returned. The time came and I can say I'm disappointed. My mother is not what I thought. She only thinks about looking pretty, giving orders and being behind my father. She hasn't even cooked us something special, or read us a story like you do, Sofia."
