Chapter 31

• Lucrecia trembles as she feels the strong grip and the way the man looks at her with disdain without even blinking. "Lucrecia Rizzo," he says, and without letting go of her arm, he gets closer to her, standing face to face and with his back to Sofia. "The woman behind me, Sofia Mangano, don't you ever touch her again," he sentences. Lucrecia swallows hard. "Get inside the apartment, Sofia," Alexander Di Napoli orders her.
• Mangano looks at Lucrecia one more time, she can perceive her fear. Pedro will have no pity on her, not after how she treated her and laid a hand on her. She never expected that, especially since Lucrecia pretended to be good to her, so it was another blow to her life. She enters the apartment very nervously, leaving Alexander and Lucrecia alone.
• "You are the worst people that can exist in Italy," the woman scolds him. "Everyone will rise up against you!"
