Chapter 33

• Cedric was so focused on talking to Sofia that he hadn't noticed his boss's presence. When he looks up and sees him, he immediately stands up, feeling embarrassed that he saw him relaxed during working hours, and even more so drinking wine. But the most shocked is Sofia, with the uncertainty of whether he heard her or not, and the truth is she doesn't understand. How is he here? He is supposed to be on a trip. She is full of questions, but her greatest wish is that he didn't hear her confession.
• "Mr. Di Napoli, welcome," Cedric makes a small bow, and Sofia doesn't dare to turn around and look at him. The poor thing is breathing with difficulty; she feels him right behind her. She wishes the ground would open up and swallow her. Her reaction is to finish her glass of wine in one go, and Cedric looks at her with a subtle signal to stand up out of respect for the boss, but she doesn't do it, instead she pours herself more wine.
• "Cedric, where are my children and what the hell happened in this place?" he says, referring to the mess the service staff is cleaning up.
