Chapter 99 Call Me, Daddy
- Janet made one last pass through the childhood house she'd grown up in, which Connor now shared with his wife. The house held no memories of the past, no emotions attached since she was unaware of the echoes of tears her mother had shed.
- As she gazed at the library, she wondered if Connor ever had a chance to read any of them. "Probably, it's Mom's collection." She was about to pick out a book when Do Yoon interrupted her with papers.
- "Here, sign, please," Janet said, taking the file and signing it without hesitation. She gave one last glance before slipping on her sunglasses and leaving the house, never to return.
