Chapter 52 Secret Admirer

• As evening fell, Janet arrived at the police headquarters and exchanged greetings with her fellow cop colleagues on her way to her office. As she turned the knob of her office and walked inside, a delightful scent of white lilies filled the air.
• Her eyes met with the enormous bouquet of her favourite white lilies waiting on her desk. The first thing she noticed was the vibrant blooms standing out against the dull backdrop of her desk.
• Squinting as she walked inside, she couldn’t help but wonder who had sent her favourite flowers. As she passed her office desk, she couldn’t shake the thought of the masked man from her mind. Involuntarily, her hand reached out to the note tucked in the bouquet, and she leaned back in her chair before unfolding it.
