Chapter 47 Sheriff Greg

Rachel drove to the nearest drug store to purchase a pregnancy test. Pulling into the parking lot she noticed the sheriff walking up to her. "Rachel, it's been awhile." Sheriff Greg said with a raised voice as he walked towards her. Rachel smiled back at him and waved, noticing he was heading towards her she stopped, putting her keys in her purse.
Sheriff Greg walked up to her smiling, his hat covering his eyes, placing his thumbs in the front pockets of his pants as he stood in front of her with his legs slightly apart. "How have you been?" he asked, looking her over. Rachel knew Greg had a thing for her but she was never attracted to him. He had a pot belly and was like fifteen years older than she was.
"I'm good Greg, and you?' she asked, wanting to get the conversation over with so she could purchase the pregnancy test and get back to Leoma.
