Chapter 17 Checking On Rachel

• Levi drove up to his house in Leoma’s car. Walking In he saw Rachel sitting on the coach. Her legs were crossed, watching TV. She slowly looked towards him. “Well, I guess someone decided to come back home. I have a splitting headache and couldn’t find anything for it.” Her elbow was on the couch arm and her hand on her chin.
• Walking to the kitchen cabinet Levi pulled out a bottle of ibuprofen and grabbed a bottle of water out of his fridge. Walking over to her he handed it them her. Tipping her head back she swallowed the pill swigging it with water.
• “My head hurts and my chest, feels like I had been smoking those handmade cigarettes.” Rubbing her chest, her brows were lifted hoping Levi could give her an answer.
