Chapter 35 The Cabin

  • As the Alp searched for a cave or something to hide in while he ran, he noticed an old cabin. He walked up to the cabin; the logs were rotten in spots. He could tell it no one had been there in a very long time. Grabbing the doorknob, he turned it and slowly pushed the old wooden door open. As it opened the door squeaked from the hinges rusting. He saw the sunlight shine through one of the old curtains that was opened slightly.
  • Dust was floating around in the sunlight that shone through the window. It was everywhere.
  • The Alp slung Leoma on her feet and ducked under the doorway as he walked into the cabin, pulling Leoma behind her. She was cut up, bruised and bleeding from his skin and being carried over his shoulder. She was yelling at him “Let me go? Help. Help. Help!” She yelled as she squatted down trying to prevent him from pulling her into the old cabin. She knew if she went in there what would happen to her. She didn’t have the strength, even taking her free hand and holding into the frame of the doorway didn’t even phase the Alp. He just gave a little shove, and she flew through the doorway and fell on her face. Placing her hands on the wooden floor, she lifted her face up to look at the Alp. He was looking around seeing if there was anything he needed. She took that opportunity to get up as quickly and quietly as she could and run out of the cabin. The Alp was so focused on looking at everything in the cabin it took him a second to realize Leoma was making her escape.
