Chapter 25 Sinking Ship

• After listening for a few minutes, the Alp decided to take another approach. He looked over the side of the boat and dove into the water. Making a splashing sound, the Alp stayed under the water.
• Galinn, sitting in the living room heard the splash, he stood up quickly and ran outside. Looking around he didn’t see anything, so he decided to stand still and just listen. He heard the water ripple, walking over to the edge of the boat he bent over watching the water. He could see ripples in the water, something created them. Standing straight up, his senses on high alert to guard Leoma. Galinn thought it was best to walk over the top of the boat to the other side and check the surrounding water to see if there was anymore movement. After not noticing anything else he decided it was best to go inside so he could be closer to her. Walking into the bedroom he checked on Leoma while she was sleeping. She was sleeping peacefully so he went into the living room and sat on the couch. Turning on the TV scanning through the channels. He had never watched television before and was mesmerized by the violence he watched. What has this world come to since I have been gone. He thought to himself.
• The Alp stayed under water for around 20 minutes, long enough to feel that no one would be expecting him to be there. Swimming to the hole he had put in the boat earlier, he noticed it was covered up with some type of gunk. Grabbing the rubbery substance, he pulled it away till the hole was exposed and the water started to pour in. Happy with the results, the Alp swam to the middle of the river where it was deeper and darker and just waited.
