Chapter 18 Thinking Of Past Lives

• Kalisto and Alexios were outside scouting the area, “You, know it probably swam down the river, if I were it, there is no way I would hang out to try and get to her. Not being hurt.” Alexios told Kalisto as they were walking down the dirt road that led to the boats.
• “Yeah, you’re probably right, holding onto his gun with his right hand. Let’s get Jed back over here. He’s not safe by himself anyway, he would be dinner for it.” Looking at Alexios like Jed would be rotten to the taste. Alexios laughed “You’re right.” Yelling over the river Alexios motioned for Jed to come back to the boat. Jed yelled back “Okay, in a few!” Jed had to walk over up and over the bridge to get back to them.
• They both looked at each other while waiting for Jed, both broke out laughing at the sounds Leoma was making. “Damn, Galinn must be pretty good at fucking.” Alexios said to Kalisto between laughs. Shaking his head Kalisto said “must be, sounds like he’s digging another basement.” Kalisto slapped Alexios back while they both laughed at the sounds coming from the houseboat. “Hope the neighbors don’t call the police.” Alexios said.
