• I had already set up a little flower shop just right beside the main entrance of our farm. I really felt that I needed to do more so I could be very busy to even think of those people who were bothering me again. I was still contemplating my recent confrontation with Annette in the club, and Cleo had assured me that I didn’t not say anything that would make Annette suspect about my past relationship with Larkin.
• Good thing Cleo had stopped us even before I could get to revealing it to Annette. I had not spoken with Annette after that, but Cleo had been in contact with me, she had also visited me in my flower shop already.
