- I was getting really drawn to Blythe already, I really could not stand the fact of not being able to see her even for a few days. After I left her shop, I remember that my mom had a friend in Pasadena who was running a flower farm. I called her and asked for a meeting at their farm.
- My secretary was able to arrange my travel to Pasadena, but she didn't get a flight earlier the next day, so I had to take the evening flight. I was very familiar with California, I spent most of my teenage years there before moving to Boston to attend uni.
