• I stayed there for a couple minutes after Larkin left, I was regaining enough energy after being drained by Larkin’s outrage. I expected that of him, and I totally understood his reactions. I chose to go straight to my apartment instead of going to my flower shop. I just told Ellis that I was not feeling well and I needed to stay in bed.
• I was worrying about Larkin already, so I decided to call up her secretary, and then I learned that Larkin had not returned to his office yet ever since he left for lunch. I thanked her and asked her to let me know once he got back.
