Chapter 40
- LARKIN
- I ended up in Neon Nights Club that night, getting myself drunk so that I could feel numb. I loved Blythe, and being in this kind of situation was something I did not foresee. I sat in the same seat when I first met Blythe, reminiscing about that casual meet up that led to so many beautiful things between us. I wanted to spend the rest of my days with her, and now that this reality forced us to end our relationship, I could not find the strength to pick myself up from all these miseries.
- I had prayed for Annette to come back, but it was so impossible that I accepted that painful fact no matter how many times I denied it. Then, in the middle of everything, just when I thought that I was having the best time of my life with Blythe, she would return and turn everything into a painful mess. Sure, there was this part of me that I felt happy thinking that I would have another shot of loving her and being with her, but Blythe was all that mattered to me now that I could only think of ways to get rid of Annette.
