• The low hum of the club's music faded into the background as I leaned closer to Zain. "Do we know who's behind this?" My voice was barely a whisper over the beat.
• Zain took a slow sip of his drink, his eyes scanning the crowd before he answered. "We suspect it's Haruto. There's a small Japanese family called the Niroshi. They've accumulated a ton of wealth and power in the past few years, seemingly out of nowhere. The drug and weapons trade is already flooded in their region, so they've started moving into new territory."
