Chapter 13 Gianna

  • As disappointed as I may have been to watch Mason and his friends leave, I was so glad to finally kick off my shoes and throw on my sneakers. A sigh of relief does not even cover it! But, as I got myself sorted to go home backstage, my feet still felt like they were throbbing. Needless to say, I do not think I will be wearing those shoes again…
  • I grabbed my things, already imagining a mug of hot chocolate laid out on the sofa at home before crashing on my bed and sleeping. Sleeping, sleeping and more sleeping. Maybe a few dreams of the handsome and mysterious stranger from tonight thrown in to make it a little more interesting. I would most definitely not want to be waking then... The one big downside of working the late shifts was the late finishes, but that was certainly outweighed by the increase in tips we earned due to the higher number of customers. And while I didn't often work the later shifts, I was more than glad I did tonight.
  • Tavi walked into the room just as I was leaving. “Aww, Gia, wait for me, we can head home together.” She begged, and because we lived together, it made sense for us to travel home together. I had assumed she was on clean up duty tonight with the fact she wasn’t already in here getting ready to leave. She was usually one of the first to get out.
