Chapter 11 Gianna

  • Having watched Mason and his friends moving toward the exit, I was oddly surprised to find myself disappointed the evening had come to an end. I had actually enjoyed their company. Something I don’t think has ever happened in the whole time I had worked here. My shifts usually dragged, and I avoided interacting with the clients as much as physically possible. Yet this small group of guys had made my night more than bearable... even brightened it. Especially Mason.
  • But, I felt the eyes of my boss watching me from across the bar, as his words echoed in my head, and I knew I should not keep him waiting too much longer. • I truly did not have the energy to deal with him right now. But, if I wanted to go home, I had no choice. So, reluctantly, I made my way to Rhett, who was standing angrily by the bar. The boss and owner of the bar, a moody and miserable bastard, who made our lives' hell if we did not follow the strict rules he had in place. He liked to monitor what we, the dancers, were all doing throughout the evening; to make sure we were all earning him money.
