• Throughout the journey my mind was just raving with different questions that I had no answer to and for the first time in forever I was anxious. I was thinking what would be her reaction? Will it be as awkward, or would she feel like the comfort and home I had ever known?
• As much as I was eager to meet her, the what-if questions arose. Meeting her is like confronting my very dark past, reopening wounds I thought I had buried deeply – like the death of my parents and the betrayal of loved ones. My mind subconsciously drifted down the memory lane.
