• Nate’s POV
• I sat at the head of the table, looking over the battle map, my eyes tracing the paths and entry points we could use to ambush Bustan. We had finally captured Bustan's weak point—Olivia. He was utterly obsessed with her, and that was exactly what I was going to use to bring him down. I was so proud of my achievement.
• My lieutenant, Rylan, leaned forward, pointing at a section of the forest that bordered Bustan's territory. "This area here," he said, "it’s heavily guarded. But if we create a diversion, we could draw his forces away and strike directly at the palace. With Olivia in our hands, he’ll have no choice but to come for her, and that’s when we’ll trap him."
