Chapter 45

• My men and I were captured underground. I wolfed out immediately and clawed myself out. I left her there so I could fight off Nate's soldier's alongside my men.
• I could see her struggling below, her eyes wide as she looked up at me. She didn’t call for help, but I could feel her desperation—her trust in me to pull her from this abyss. Snarling, I leaped into the fray, swiping aside any of Nate’s men who dared come close.
• "Get her out!" I barked at my soldiers, who rushed to the edge of the hole. Two of them morphed into their wolf forms and started to dig, their powerful claws tearing at the loose soil.
