Chapter 28
- As I looked at the massive wolf beside me, I couldn't help but be in awe. Nightshade was truly a sight to behold – his ebony fur gleaming in the moonlight, his emerald eyes piercing straight through me. I had seen the wolves of other Alphas before, but Azrael's wolf was on a whole other level – larger, more powerful, exuding a raw, primal energy that was both thrilling and intimidating.
- Nightshade moved closer, nudging my arm gently with his warm fur. I glanced in his direction, and to my surprise, he suddenly lowered his body, as if inviting me to climb onto his back. I hesitated for a moment, unsure, but something inside me seemed to understand his unspoken request.
- "You want me to ride?" I asked tentatively, and Nightshade let out a soft, rumbling purr in response.
