• As I looked at the man sitting beside me, a war raged within my heart. Part of me yearned to scream "yes!" and embrace this bond, this connection that the moon goddess had deemed fated. But another, more fearful part of me, was terrified of dragging Azrael down, of tainting his royal bloodline with my own tainted, half-breed status.
• "What's on your mind, my little Luna?" Azrael murmured, his brow furrowed in concern.
