Chapter 99

• Gunshots sounded loud in there; it seemed that Ronald was practicing shooting. This basement serves as a shooting and sports practice room that Ronald likes. The man turned, came over to me, and hugged me. He took off the earplugs he wore during his shooting practice earlier.
• “Want to give it a try??” he asked as I looked at the gun still in his hand. I nodded curiously; he motioned for me to follow him, and then he showed me his collection of handguns on the table. Ronald picked up one. I know nothing about weapons, but I’m interested in learning how to use them.
• “These are the types of handguns that police and law enforcement are used to, give it a try.”
