• Two months we were passed quickly without any significant problems. The news about Ariel a month ago, now in a holding cell, relieves my heart and mind; that bastard is where he should be. Reyhan and I went about our activities as usual; two months after our marriage, we changed many attitudes and thoughts toward each other. Even though Reyhan maintains some of his moods, our arguments have lessened. I feel relieved that Atika is gone from our lives.
• I massaged the area between my forehead using my thumb and forefinger as I sat in the chair behind my desk. I just finished a class today. Before leaving, I just drank chocolate milk without eating anything. Mrs. Liam screamed for me to bring food, but I ignored him because I was late this morning. Hannah’s face appeared behind the door of my room, which she opened as wide as her head. I looked at her briefly, then closed my eyes again.
