• I took careful steps towards the door wondering who it could be. At this point, it can be anyone and Ryder is the last person I want to be confronted with at this point. But then again, after the beating he got earlier, I doubt he still has the nerve in him to come here and try anything crazy with me.
• With such convincing thought in mind, I walked over to open the door and removed the lock before pushing the door open only to be face to face with that man. As much as I wasn’t expecting Ryder to show up here, he also happens to be the last person I was expecting as well.
