Chapter 15 Lyra

• When I woke up the next morning, I felt fatigued, having barely slept a wink last night. My mind was still crowded with thoughts of the job that I was supposed to do. I mean, would i really be able to handle carrying someone child to full term? that was nine months of my life right there and it would be dedicated to taking care of another being inside of me.
• To even think that, at the end of it all, I would never see or hear of again after the process was done, but then again, what’s really important is that, I will get paid and a lucky couple would get a baby that they always wanted. it was a win-win for everybody.
• And with that thought in mind, I walked into the shower to shower and get ready for the day.
