Chapter 19 Lyra

• I brought my van to a screeching stop in front of my apartment and I quickly grab lolo and hurried inside, my heart still beating loudly in my chest. I managed to unlock the door and pushed it open and slide inside before bolting the locks in place.
• While Lolo climb down from my grasp, I continued to leaned against the door, just taking in deep calming breath, all the colors in my face was completely drained as if I had been soaked in a in bleach.
• Another minute went by before I let my frame slip down to the floor, my breath still ragged and unable to focus on anything. The world around me still spinning. I clenched my eyes shut, trying to stabilize my breathing and then I felt something soft on my cheek and I peeled my eyelids allowing my eyes to fall on my furry friend.
