• Lucian checked his phone and was surprised to see that the caller was Becky, whom he just chatted with, about a few minutes back.
• They were slowly becoming friends, and she would call him almost every day to ask questions about one document or the other, and Lucian still saw her as nothing but a dedicated worker; he sometimes wondered why she always called him when she can easily make decisions by herself. If there was anything, he was sure about was the fact that Becky wasn't in love with him nor was she crushing on him. She sometimes mentioned her boyfriend to him.
