Chapter 28 STRANGERS TO FRIENDS

• Days pass and the stranger became a friend. Cain was starting to find Mary interesting and they were getting close to each other. Cain would drop at her restaurant everyday whenever he was going home. He would eat and they would both drive home in Cain's car.
• “Cain, So how about your babe now? Have you gotten through to her?" She asked Cain while they were driving home.
• Cain's smile immediately frozed and his eyes turned cold. Becky had changed a lot since she traveled and he wondered why. She hardly called nor pick his call and even her text were short and brief. It saddened Cain's heart but, he was slowly getting to live with it, thanks to Mary who was always there for him and comforting him all time.
