As she dropped her hands, the surprise that flickered across Sandro's face struck her as utterly incredulous. It was unfathomable that Valerie had concealed the truth from him for so long.
- Sandro's expression morphed into something dark and foreboding, the tension in the air thickening to an almost suffocating extent, and out of the corner of her eye, she caught a glimpse of Luciana hurrying down into the kitchen. "What the- what are you talking about?" he demanded.
