- Tasha? Why did he keep calling her that? His accent made it sound different—reverent yet sensual. It unsettled her; she gripped the railing, bewildered by the heat rising in her thighs. She didn't like him; she didn't find him attractive. He wasn't her type—not that she'd ever had the opportunity to develop a type.
- Other women might have found him irresistible. Everyone had ogled him as he'd kissed Valerie after slipping the engagement ring onto her finger. Anastasia hadn't thought it was anything special, but then Valerie had begun moaning like a creature in heat.
