- She widened her eyes, relaxing her muscles. She leaned forward, pressing against him. He felt wrong—the wrong height, scent, touch, man. But she thought of the one man who had touched her right, and a pleased smile curved Alexander's lips.
- He saw it—her dilated eyes, flushed cheeks, her tongue flicking over her lip, lust. Pretending arousal was as easy as breathing after Jayson. She nodded, deliberately glancing at his mouth.
