Chapter 53 Having Her Support

• I try to process what my mother has told me, but the news hits me like a bucket of cold water being thrown at me while wearing little clothing in the middle of winter. I freeze to the bone, and although a part of me feels relieved because I didn't do something so cruel to my children, my life itself becomes more complicated.
• If they really managed to escape, it means that my children are less safe than they were before, and that only makes me worry more without knowing how to face all of this.
