• Miles’ POV
• The next day, I woke up, determined to attend the orientation like every other day. It was going to be challenging, but we were resolved to make it work. My brothers, Lilah and I had to accompany her everywhere. I realized I’d been too formal with her lately, so I decided to be more romantic.
• As we strolled to the garden, I draped my left hand over her left neck. She turned, surprised, and stared at me. I smiled gently. “We haven’t been romantic in a while. I’ve missed you. Can we rekindle that spark?” I paused, awaiting her response. “We can make it special before the party. How do you feel about it?”
