• Lilah’s POV
• After long minutes, the triplets stormed back to our residence, like angry lions that had just devoured their enemies. Then, in the pack estate, I could hear wailing from there. Even though I wasn’t as good as him in my sense of hearing, I could still hear it. I perceived that something had happened.
• “What did you just do?” I screamed at them even before he reached the house, but he passed by me, refusing to say anything. It was at that point that I knew something was wrong. I attempted to go straight to the central wing, see for myself, and apologize in case of any eventuality, but I hadn’t taken two steps further when Miles seized me, taking me upstairs with him. The other two were already fast inside, and I was just left with him.
