• Lilah’s POV
• I chose to stay back in the chambers after the triplets went out to check the site of their new estate because their supervisor informed them of an urgent need. While watching the TV, my mind went off to think of what just befell me, the call of the old Alpha when we were in the car. It was troubling when the three girlfriends and Axel brought it up, but now that the old Alpha himself wanted to see me, there was enough to worry about.
• The brothers had never let anything worry them, especially Calvin, but I could see how worried he was in this case, even as he was going out. I yawned, feeling tired and frustrated. There’s no way I could return back to Axel, he had his new Luna, my twin sister, Carlen, who he had left me for, he loved already and besides he didn’t love me, or claims not to. I wouldn’t be able to fight for love from a man, even though he is my mate.
