• After Nathan left, I realized I’d forgotten my bag back at the office. I had taken my purse but my handbag was still under my desk. I had to go back to get it.
• The building was quiet when I got there. Most people had already gone home, it was some minutes after seven. The front door was still opened which meant someone was still in. Probably some intern is trying to work long hours to get a good review.
