Chapter 74

• Laura was sitting on the bench, her gaze kept going to the door of the ER as multiple nurses rushed in and out of it. She was quite apprehensive about the future and her palms started getting sweaty at the thought of it.
• Her legs were slightly trembling from the nervousness as she was waiting for the doctor to come out of the ER and report her sister's condition.
• Just when she was lost in her worries, her phone rang, making her jump in fear. She quickly looked for it in her purse and then answered the call with trembling hands, "Steve..." She cried out in a heart-wrenching voice making the other person anxious.
