Chapter 31

• "Augustus?" His voice echoed in the room as Laura immediately got back her senses and stood up in a panic.
• "I...I..." She stuttered as Steven said calmly. "This is the name you were mumbling in your sleep."
• He then narrowed his eyes at her and continued, "Why would a young woman murmur another man's name and also when she was in someone else's bed." His words were sarcastic but Laura didn't feel bad as her heart was still wrapped in Augustus's hurtful words.
