Chapter 27

• Laura was coughing badly as Steven handed her a napkin and then rubbed her back gently. She looked around the table and found a familiar face. Her heart started beating fast as she stared at him with shock in her eyes.
• Her little incident had caught the attention of people at the table and so as the man she had been staring at. Augustus showed surprise in his eyes but then it clouded with rage and seriousness. She could see him holding the chopsticks too tightly that his nerves were popping out on his hand.
• She wondered why he is looking so angry? And then realized the presence of Steven beside her who was talking with Mr. Chen in Japanese and after that, he turned to Laura. "Mr. Chen has booked multiple rooms for the guest to stay. If you want you can go and rest there." He offered her as Laura nodded her head and stood up from the table to leave.
